Description:
The Canon AF35M II is a hugely popular second-generation 35mm point-and-shoot camera released by Canon in 1983. Known as the (New) Sure Shot in North America and the Autoboy 2 in Japan, this model replaced the wildly successful original AF35M. It quickly became a signature 1980s street-and-travel camera, pairing vintage aesthetic charm with heavy automation. It can be easily identified by its distinctive sloped edge near the shutter release button.

- Lens: Canon 38mm f/2.8 (a highly regarded 4-element, 4-group glass lens that delivers exceptionally sharp, contrast-rich images).
- Focusing: Active infrared triangulation autofocus. A half-press locks focus, and visual zone icons (person, group, mountain) light up in the viewfinder to confirm the distance.
- Exposure: Fully automatic electromagnetic programmed shutter. An internal sensor detects lighting and flashes a warning LED inside the viewfinder if a scene is too dark.
- Power: Powered by two universally available AA batteries. The sliding plastic front lens cover serves as the master on/off safety switch to prevent accidental firing.
- ISO Range: Manual selection via a ring around the lens. Depending on the sub-variant, it supports film speeds of either ISO 50–1000.
- Metering: Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) light meter cell located on the lens face ring, automatically adjusting the camera’s aperture and exposure.
- Shutter Speeds: Fully automatic, continuous electronic shutter ranging from 1/8s to 1/500s.
- Flash: Manual, pop-up electronic flash unit deployed via a sliding switch on the front plate, featuring a rear “ready” pilot light.

Clean – lenses, viewfinders and camera bodies are carefully cleaned
Lubricate – If necessary we lubricate key areas of the camera such as film advance or shutter mechanisms
Adjust – Shutter speeds and film advance mechanisms are adjusted if required. Light seals are replaced as needed
Warranty:
6 months warranty is provided with used camera equipment. If you experience a problem with your purchase during the 1st six months we will either repair, replace of refund the camera.
