Camera Model: Canon AE-1 with 50mm f/1.8 FD Lens
Serial: #4189898
Description
The Canon AE-1 is arguably the most famous 35mm SLR ever made, and for good reason. Launched in 1976 as the world’s first microprocessor-equipped SLR, it went on to introduce millions of people to the joy of analog photography. It remains a legendary workhorse, celebrated for its robust build, classic vintage styling, and remarkably straightforward layout that makes it the ultimate creative tool for both beginners and experienced film shooters.
At the heart of the AE-1 is its highly intuitive Shutter-Priority Auto-Exposure mode. You simply choose your shutter speed, and the camera’s internal brains instantly select the correct aperture, allowing you to react rapidly to fleeting moments without getting bogged down in math. Paired with the included Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 standard prime lens, this kit delivers outstanding optical sharpness, beautiful contrast, and a bright viewfinder experience. Whether you are capturing street photography, intimate portraits, or everyday travel memories, this setup offers the quintessential vintage film experience with unparalleled reliability.
This particular kit is ready to shoot. The camera body is in good used condition (although the battery door has been repaired), and the accompanying 50mm f/1.8 lens is in very good condition with smooth mechanics and clean glass.
