Alfie Tych (Premium lens) – Taken in Osaka, Japan with Kodak Ultramax 400
What film do you like to shoot with?
I like shooting black and white films but recently investing much time on the colourful world. I always find black-and-white photography more poetic yet challenging. My all-time favourites are Ektar100 and Ilford Delta 400.

What do you like about the TYCH?I really enjoy how light and handy it is. This is indeed my first automatic film camera and I love how easy it is to be non-noticeable when taking street photos. There are four lenses which mean there are so many potentials to explore, not to mention that I don’t have to count on how many photos are left to shoot since it is in half frame.

Which of your 3 images is your favourite and why?My favourite is the one taken in Hong Kong as this is the place where I grew up in. TYCH literally displays the finest of the underrated ultramax 400 from Kodak.
Wow, what a well executed set of street images taken by Jasmine, with 3 countries covered in one set it’s great to the the TYCH getting out and about. The punch of the kodak ultramax emulsion is highly underrated in our opinion and is one of our favourite film stocks to shoot.
