What film do you like to shoot with and why?
On TYCH I mainly shoot on Kodak Portra 800. I was given a roll of Portra 400 to try for my first roll in the TYCH and I just fell in love with the colors. Since I mainly shoot in low light, though, I now get the 800.

What do you like about the TYCH?
I love how compact the TYCH is. I’m able to carry it in my pocket wherever I go. It’s especially useful to me because I like doing concert photography, so I’m able to bring it into music venues and festivals that don’t usually allow cameras inside. I always have it with me.

Which of your 3 images is your favourite and why?
The Emery photo is my favourite in this set because of how well the triple exposure came out. My goal was to try to get the whole band in one frame clearly, so I had to remember which parts of the frame I needed to fill out after each exposure, keeping in mind the stage lighting as to not overexpose.

We are loving following Andrew on Instagram his passion for both photography and live music really comes through on his feed. Lots of great examples to see, but minds were blown by the triple exposure with all 4 members of the band Emery in it, fantastic!
